10 Things You Didn't Know About Tazz

8. Had To Mute His Mic When Working With Mike Adamle

Generally speaking, wrestling fans rarely all agree with one another, but there can be little argument that Mike Adamle was one of the biggest failed experiments in WWE history. Ok, so he didn't cost as much as the XFL, but the guy was utterly horrendous as an announcer, failing to grasp even the most basic of machinations which make the wrestling world go round. Aside from forgetting what the ropes that surround a wrestling ring were called, Adamle had one other big skill, making Tazz laugh his ass off live on air. Apparently, so bemused by his broadcast colleague was Tazz that the production truck routinely had to mute his microphone, so his little bursts of laughter wouldn't be heard by fans watching at home. A lot of the shows both men worked on together were pre-taped, so this wasn't quite as big an issue, but it's still hilarious to picture Adamle fumbling his way through the set-up for a big match, with Tazz sat next to him, head buried in his hands and laughing.
