2. D-Von Denied A Dudleys Reunion Just Two Years Ago
Speaking in an interview with Inside The Ropes, D-Von scoffed at the idea of a Dudley Boyz reunion, either in the WWE or TNA, stating: 'Absolutely not. I dont want the Dudley Boyz or Team 3D, I dont want it. As far as Im concerned its dead and over [...] Maybe well be on the same page 20 years from now at the Hall of Fame when were inducted but thats about it. Some of the fans, theyve gotta let it go, theyve gotta let ECW go and let the Dudleyz go.' His comments seem pretty ironic now that the Dudleyz are tearing it up on a weekly basis on Raw, and could even be in line for yet another tag title reign to add to their extensive, multi-promotional collection. D-Von could well have kept his word right up until this year, given his absence during Bubba Ray's return at the 2015 Royal Rumble. Whatever the reason for his dismissive comments, the WWE look to have changed his mind very convincingly - although whether TNA's alarming decline has anything to do with his sudden cooperation is another matter entirely.
