10 Things You Didn't Know About The Dynamite Kid

4. He Regarded Hulk Hogan As A "Great Man"

Here's one that's rather out of the blue.

In the Power Slam interview, Dynamite was asked for his thoughts on one Hulk Hogan. Rather surprisingly, the usually blunt Brit lavished praise on Hulk as a human being and said he was a "great man". Then, unable to resist, he admitted he didn't think much of Hogan as an in-ring force.

In fact, he thanked Hulk's opponents over the years for making him look good, but said Vince McMahon's cash cow was someone who'd always go out of his way to be polite. His very words were, "I like Hulk Hogan very much", and Dynamite also added that he'd often share a coffee and laugh with him backstage.

Bear in mind this was coming from a guy who was the antithesis of Hulk's showbiz-heavy posing and 'Hulk Up' routines. It's pretty cool that Kid was able to separate his professional feelings from his personal ones on this occasion and applaud Hogan's human side.
