10 Things You Didn’t Know About The WWE Draft

6. Most Times Drafted #1

RIC FLAIR DRAFT PICK

But while Big Show has been picked more than anyone else, he’s never been able to secure the coveted number one spot. John Cena, on the other hand, has been incredibly greedy having been drafted first on two occasions, more than any other Superstar in history.

The first instance came in 2005 when Cena was drafted from SmackDown to Raw, taking the WWE Championship with him. Then six years later he made the opposite move when he was picked up by SmackDown at the start of the night.

However, in the final televised pick that evening he was then drafted straight back to Raw.

As a result, not only does Cena have the most number one picks, he’s also the only Superstar to have been drafted twice in the space of a single night. Triple H very nearly achieved that back in 2004, as he too went to SmackDown and then back to Raw.

But the return to Raw was exacted via a trade, so it doesn’t quite count as a Draft pick, per se.
