10 Things You Didn’t Know About The WWE Draft

7. Most Times Drafted

RIC FLAIR DRAFT PICK

Say what you like about the Big Show, but over the years he’s clearly been a man in demand.

Of the ten Drafts we’ve seen since 2002, Big Show has been drafted in seven of them. The only years in which he missed out on selection were 2004, 2007 and 2008. And you can chalk his 2007 absence up to the fact that he was taking a break from the company at the time, so really it’s more like seven from a possible nine.

His value is clearly dwindling, though. At this year’s Draft he was the 23rd pick, while every other year in which his name has been called he’s featured no lower than twelfth.

Still, not only did this year mark his seventh overall selection; it was also the fourth year in a row that he was picked, which breaks another record for the big man.

All in all, given the number of heel turns he’s had, it’s rather fitting that his brand allegiances have switched almost as often.
