10 Things You Didn't Know About The WWE Title

1. Jinder Mahal’s Reign Beat Edge’s FOUR

This is simultaneously ridiculous and amazing.

Jinder Mahal was a left-field choice for WWE when they stuck the top title on him in 2017. Mahal beat Randy Orton to win out at Backlash that year, and would go on to live a 170-day reign on top of the mountain. Here's something that'll blow your mind: Jinder's one reign was longer than all four of Edge's combined.

Where's Weezer to belt out a quick, 'Say It Ain't So' when you need them? This is 100% true. Adam Copeland had four stints as WWE Champ, and the total day count for him is 135 days. In other words, Jinder was WWE Champion for 35 days more than the 'Rated-R Superstar'. Get your sick bags at the ready.

Of course, Edge was married to the old World Heavyweight Title more than the main WWE one, but that's besides the point here. Mahal has him licked when it comes to WWE Title success. Quick! Someone tell Copeland to come back from AEW to set the record straight.
