4. Sting Accidentally Cut Vader With Hidden Blade During SuperBrawl Match

For a few years, WCW enjoyed presenting little films to accompany their biggest feuds. Marquee matches were hyped up through elaborate set pieces, such as Sting visiting Vader's castle (!?) to accept his challenge to a match. The castle turned out to be a cave, which made even less sense.

The result of all this craziness (including a game of Tug-O-War in the so-called 'White Castle Of Fear'), was a Strap Match at February's SuperBrawl III pay-per-view.

The mini-movie hadn't exactly been effective in hyping up such a bout, but both men were sufficiently talented enough to offset the loony set-up for their main event showdown.

During the melee, Sting accidentally grazed his opponent's head with a hidden blade in the wrist tape on his arm. The cut caused Vader to bleed prematurely in the match, although it only added to the drama in the end.

Telling Kayfabe Commentaries about the situation, Vader found the whole 'White Castle Of Fear' gimmick as strange as everyone else did. It's crazy to imagine that Vader wasn't supposed to bleed as heavily in the match as he did.
