6. Heidenreich & Snitsky Vs. The Undertaker & Kane Was Planned For WrestleMania
Poor Undertaker and Kane. The two long-serving big men were lumbered with the bumbling Heidenreich and Gene Snitsky, respectively, for much of the autumn of 2004, clashing many times on television and pay-per-view. As two veterans, it was up to them to try and get something respectable out of the rookies. And try they did, but their matches were usually pretty bad. Fans looked on in horror as Heidenreich and Snitsky formed something of a team. Although the two had a couple of amusing backstage segments ('I like your poetry' 'I like what you do to babies'), the thought of them actually teaming up was nightmare-inducing. But that's exactly what WWE had planned. The two even came very close to getting a WrestleMania match against the team of Kane and The Undertaker. Thankfully WWE came to their senses and scrapped the idea (Undertaker was also opposed to the match) but it was originally supposed to be Undertaker/Kane versus Heidenreich/Snitsky at 'Mania 21, possibly in a casket match.
