10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2005

7. Juventud Guerrera Had Nuclear Heat Backstage

Juventud Guerrera, who had incredible potential when working in WCW in the late 90s, signed with the WWE in the spring of 2005. He was the leader of the Mexicoos stable, along with fellow luchadores Psicosis and Super Crazy. The trio rode lawnmowers to the ring. It was not a winning gimmick. Juventud was fired in early January 2006. Many were surprised that he even lasted that long, since he had nuclear heat on him for his backstage attitude. He was constantly late to shows, had a huge ego and would pitch ridiculous ideas to management, such as a mask versus mask feud/match with Rey Mysterio, despite the fact he didn't wear (and hadn't worn) a mask for about six years. Even Juventud's fellow Mexicool members Super Crazy and Psicosis wouldn't associate him and pleaded with management to split them up. The only person willing to travel with 'Juvy Juice' was easygoing veteran Bob Orton Jr. When Juventud was told he was losing the Cruiserweight Championship to Kid Kash he got noticeably upset and tried to sabotage the match by sandbagging Kash and delivering stiff shots. So Vince made the call to let him go. Juventud, who genuinely thought he was a star on the level of The Rock and Steve Austin, couldn't believe it. Everyone else could.
