10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2012

1. The Big Show Only Turned Once

That isn't meant to read as glib as it sounds.

The artist now known again as Paul Wight turned over 33 times in 21 years with WWE, so only switching allegiances once in a calendar year was legitimately impressive. That this one got him back in main events for a hot minute was no small achievement either.

For those that may have blocked yet more Big Show drooling/crying out of their heads, the deception came at John Cena's expense when WWE Superstars were banned from interfering on John Laurinaitis' behalf during their Over The Limit main event. 'Big Johnny' had fired Show just days earlier, and the fix was in (and fairly f*cking apparent) from that point on.

With one knockout punch, he got his job back, got yet another mini-series with Cena and extended Laurinaitis' fairly wretched stay of execution. It's astonishing he stayed heel headed into 2013 - that last one should have earned him a lifetime of boos.
