10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2014

1. The Real WrestleMania XXX Plans

Enough people know about CM Punk's intended WrestleMania XXX opponent to crash a podcast server, but less might be aware of what the rest of the card looked like outside of the other changes tied in to the 'Voice Of The Voiceless' departure.

Underneath the planned Batista/Orton main event, Daniel Bryan Vs Sheamus Punk Vs Triple H and the eventual Brock Lesnar/Undertaker clash, the January layout (as shared by Punk himself) revealed yet another Big Show Vs Kane squash atop a premature dissolution of The Shield leading to Roman Reigns taking on Dean Ambrose.

Everything - and the exiting Punk himself would likely agree - turned out for the best. Kane was part of a trio brutalised by 'The Hounds Of Justice', while Big Show proved perfect for being launched over the top rope by Cesaro in the finale of the inaugural Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Sometimes, "plans change" is for the best - it remains genuinely staggering how great the end result was versus the original retread-heavy sh*tshow.
