SummerSlam 2000 became memorable for three things. Firstly, the iconic TLC bout. Second, Kurt Angle's unfortunate concussion mid-main event. Third, The Kat defeating Terri Runnels in a "Stinkface" classic for the ages. No, only kidding. Third is actually Shane McMahon's frightening bump off the entrance set.

Get this: Shane subbed in for a busy Vince McMahon to chat away to Edge, Christian, The Dudley Boyz and The Hardys about being safe out there. Yep, the 'Boy Wonder' was readying himself to take the single most dangerous bump on the entire show, but he was tasked with reminding everyone involved in TLC to put safety first.

That's crazy.

There were surely some laughs amongst the workers when they realised that Shane would have to conduct this pre-show pep talk instead of Vince. They probably knew what McMahon had planned for his own match vs. Steve Blackman, after all. His was the most reckless spot on the card!
