It's amazing to think that Kurt Angle had only been a full-time pro wrestler for less than two full years by the time he wrestled Steve Austin in the main event of SummerSlam 2001. Angle rarely looked like the relative rookie he was, but one moment during the headliner made him feel like a total newbie.

Kurt was booked to blade himself late on, but couldn't draw blood no matter how many times he sliced away at himself. So, Austin took the razor blade from his peer and cut Angle's forehead for him. The Olympian told listeners via his podcast that he bled a gusher and learned how to "gig" that night.

Wrestling is weird, eh?

World-famous, celebrated top wrestler and WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle learned how to blade during the main event of SummerSlam live on air. He also revealed that Steve cut him a little deep, and it was hard to stop the blood from flowing afterwards. Ouch.
