In-ring quality wasn't always high during the 'Attitude Era' days, but 2001's Raw library did still house some terrific matches you should go out of your way to watch. Even those that weren't as great as they might've been remain curious hidden gems just because of the workers involved.

Fire up The Rock vs. Rob Van Dam from the 24 September edition, for example. Simply seeing RVD share the same ring as 'The Great One' is a minor thrill for any old-school ECW hardcores. Similarly, Kurt Angle vs. Rhyno from the 22 October show fits into the same category.

Then, there are matches like Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit from 28 May, and Benoit teaming with Chris Jericho vs. Angle and William Regal on 23 April. Practically none of these bouts get talked about these days, for various reasons, and that's a pity.

Give Rocky vs. Van Dam a chance if you've never seen it before.
