10 Things You Learn From Watching 1992 On The WWE Network

8. Sid Justice Should Have Become The Man In The WWF

Huge in stature, complete with bulging muscles, blonde ringlet hairdo and chiseled jaw line, Sid Justice should have drawn millions for the federation. Indeed, Sid looked the part, and could be counted upon to work the power-based headline style that Vince McMahon dearly loved from those permanently housed at the top of the bill.

For WrestleMania VIII, Sid was called upon to face the almighty Hulk Hogan. This was supposed to be a true passing of the torch moment from Hogan, something the company had attempted with The Ultimate Warrior just two years prior. The eventual disqualification win for Hulk did little for either man.

It's hard to see why Sid didn't go on to greatness in the WWF during 1992. Everything was there, waiting on Justice to become that one guy McMahon could rely on to carry the main event pack on his huge back.

There have long been rumours that Sid failed a drug test around 'Mania season, quitting following a tour of Europe. That was a messy ending to his first run in the promotion, Sid should have been huge, but he wasn't even around come SummerSlam.
