2. Made In Chyna

It's no secret that addition of Chyna to Triple H's gently evolving 'Greenwich Snob' act marked a huge change in fortunes for the character, especially when the duo linked up with Shawn Michaels to form D-Generation-X. But it's largely forgotten how shocking her character was from virtually the moment she showed up on WWE screens.

Having appeared for the first time weeks earlier at February's In Your House pay-per-view, the as-yet-unnamed Chyna was a revelation in the male-dominated industry.

Positioned as an equal threat to men and women, her early appearances were fiercely intense, as the company worked to make a her danger previously unseen in WWE rings.

After stalking Goldust and Marlena from the stage during 'The Bizarre One's squash of jobber Tim McNeedy, Chyna approached the ring to distract the golden couple long enough for Triple H to strike from behind.

As the pairs were separated, the anonymous amazonian ripped through hordes of WWE officials, flooring Pat Patterson and press-slamming Harvey Wippleman onto a host of referees.

The crowd were audibly impressed with her feats of strength, particularly as it placed babyface Goldust in a challenging spot of striking a woman to protect his wife, who was brave enough to stand up for herself despite the obvious physical disadvantages.
