Here's the thing about Roman Reigns' character: it's terrible.

Fabricated anti-authority slant aside, his most defining personality trait is a refusal to take responsibility for his own failings. Nothing's ever his fault. He's channeling the spirit of Gene Snitsky by not holding his hands up whenever things go wrong, and it's particularly apparent at the moment.

When Brock Lesnar defeated Reigns at WrestleMania 34, management were somehow to blame. Roman pointed his finger at the referees after failing again at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Him and Bobby Lashley lost to The Revival last week, and apparently, this was on his partner, despite it looking very much like 'The Dominator' was on the cusp of victory when Roman tagged in.

Last night saw Lashley justifiably walk out on Reigns during their tag match with The Revival, leading Roman to a Dash and Dawson victory. 'The Big Dog' had treated his partner like dirt all night long, yet we're now supposed to take this as some grand betrayal, because reasons.

It's often said that an undying belief that they're always right, no matter what, is a great heel's defining characteristic. If only that were Roman's alignment...
