Although he has been marauding through the roster since his return to action last year, the incendiary fire of Bill Goldberg is likely to be extinguished by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. It remains to be seen, then, if the ex-WCW star will play a part in Bad Blood 2017.

If Goldberg were to have a match on the card (which isn't exactly outside the realms of possibility; Bill's latest run has been such a smash hit that WWE will surely clamour for more matches on a part-time basis), it wouldn't mark his first at Bad Blood.

Back in 2003, a rampant Goldberg was just a few months into his first WWE run before being programmed opposite Chris Jericho for the Raw pay-per-view that June; the feud revolved around Goldberg's apparent disinterest in working opposite Y2J in WCW years earlier, something the heelish Jericho couldn't stomach and wanted to avenge.

Dispatching Jericho without much fuss, the want-away Goldberg was gone before Bad Blood 2004 landed in June the next year.
