Fan's don't pay for their ticket or WWE Network subscription fee expecting to see botches, screw-ups, and other disasters in their world's biggest wrestling promotion

They expect more from the market leaders and their roster of world-class athletes, which grows deeper in number and skill by the month. Night in and night out, fans want five-star matches, epic encounters, and legendary showdowns.

WWE feels the pressure to perform at a high level every single time they have a show - and deservedly so. The expectation is much higher when the ticket or pay per view burns a hole in a WWE fan’s pocket. Although the expectations are higher, WWE is not immune to botches, errors, and subpar wrestling. In fact, they can be found up and down the card.

Some of wrestling’s biggest stars have had their worst professional moments inside the unforgiving spotlight of a WWE ring, and some of WWE’s can't-miss instant classics became nightmares in an instant. When it happens at the top of the card, it sends shockwaves through the industry and becomes instant ready-to-eat talk soup for wrestling podcasts, critics, and fans gathered around the wrestling watercooler....

10. Eddie Guerrero & Perry Saturn Vs The New Age Outlaws - WWF 2000

WWE’s acquisition of The Radicalz- Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, and Perry Saturn - was a huge coup and a devastating blow to WCW. Their loss forced WCW to continue to rely on ageing veterans such as Hulk Hogan, Sting, and Ric Flair, who were all well past their primes. However, one match almost derailed The Radicalz in WWE for good.

The Radicalz challenged Degeneration-X for WWE contracts. The plan was for DX to win a three-match series 2 matches to 1, and the feud would continue. Instead, The New Age Outlaws vs. Guerrero and Saturn saw an improvised finish. Guerrero dislocated his elbow after a top rope frog splash, and Billy Gunn had no choice but to pin him.

Triple H defeated Benoit and X-Pac beat Malenko to give DX a clean sweep that nearly ruined The Radicalz's WWE run. A lesser group may have been derailed. However, they persevered through the disastrous results of the angle, and Guerrero eventually returned from injury. Guerrero and Benoit later became WWE champions and headliners.
