Jon Moxley has gone on record saying Brock Lesnar wouldn’t agree to many of his creative suggestions for their WrestleMania 32 No Holds Barred Street Fight. He said Lesnar wanted to keep things simple when this type of match should be anything but simple. Moxley was disappointed because he saw this marquee match with Lesnar as his opportunity to have his WrestleMania moment.

Moxley had years of hardcore experience in organizations like CZW before coming to WWE making Lesnar’s balking at his suggestions all the more mind-boggling Even if there is more to the story, the result remained the same. The match was a lacklustre letdown, void of crazy high spots, and the ultra-violence associated with street fights.

Moxley was so upset by this match that it was one of the first things he got off his chest during interviews following his WWE exit. He said that Lesnar was not interested in stealing the show. Summing up Lesnar’s attitude about the match, Moxley was quoted as saying, “he didn not give a sh*t."
