10 Times Brock Lesnar's Ego Ran Wild In WWE

1. Going To A UFC Show While Under WWE Contract

There are exceptions (as proven by Chris Jericho's New Japan dalliances earlier this year), but for the most part, if you work for Vince McMahon, you work for him alone. The WWE Chairman demands exclusivity. He's so desperate to control his wrestlers' careers that he even prevents them from working elsewhere after leaving the company (via three-month non-compete clauses), and the last thing he wants is his wrestlers showing up on other shows without permission. Ask The Highlanders.

Brock Lesnar did just that at UFC 184. It came following his notorious Raw no-show, and was particularly problematic as there were strong indications that 'The Beast,' whose contract was up, was to return to MMA. Thus, the internet erupted with speculation when Brock was seen conversing with UFC head honcho Dana White, who was presumably desperate for one of the company's most reliable pay-per-view draws to return to the fold.

In the end, Brock decided against rejoining the UFC, and inked a new WWE deal even more lucrative than his last, but this almighty publicity stunt almost certainly had Vince McMahon sweating for a while.
