10 Times Brock Lesnar's Ego Ran Wild In WWE

2. His 'No Drug Tests' Clause

As strict as WWE's Wellness Policy can be for full-time performers (countless have been suspended for taking what they thought to be innocuous prescription drugs), Lesnar avoided any punishment for failing two drug tests back in 2016.

The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) served Brock his violation on 15 July. They stemmed from an undisclosed banned substance collected before and after his fight with Mark Hunt, and thus, the Nevada State Athletic Commission suspended him for a year, fined him $250,000, and overturned his victory.

The suspension remains active today, as Lesnar removed himself from the testing pool after retiring from MMA in February 2017, but how did WWE respond? By doing absolutely nothing.

The company let him off, and covered it up by noting that Wellness extends to no part-timer performers, including Lesnar. Still, given that Brock is around a lot more than most wrestlers with similar contracts, and is always pushed as a top star, the idea that he should be excluded from the policy is ludicrous. The joke's on the company for letting him keep such a favourable clause in his deal, though.
