10 Times Brock Lesnar Was Just Awesome

8. Big Moments With The Big Show

In November of 2002, Brock Lesnar began an unexpected journey to becoming a babyface.

Having spent his first six months on the roster as the most dominant heel in the company, along with the snivelling Paul Heyman, a decent feud with The Undertaker seemed to earn the 'Deadman' and the fans' respect.

Enter Big Show, and the whole set-up for the feud was whether Lesnar could F5 the five hundred pound giant. At Survivor Series, to a monumental pop, Lesnar hoisted Big Show onto his shoulders and sent him spiralling to the mat. It was an incredible moment and the fans went ballistic.

But their rivalry wasn't done there. In June 2003, Lesnar and Show main-evented Smackdown! and pulled off one of the most universally loved and historic spots in the show's history. With Big Show on the top rope, Lesnar showed incredible strength to nail him with a superplex.

As the two titans hit the mat, the entire ring collapsed, with the turnbuckles and ropes crumpling to the mat as the ring itself fell off its axis. The crowd ate it up and credit to Mike Chioda, the referee, who sold the moment brilliantly.

WWE have gone back to this well a few times since, but nothing will ever top the original.
