Where: Royal Rumble 2003

Brock wasn’t the first to win the Royal Rumble on their maiden attempt. In fact, Vince McMahon of all people had achieved - booked himself - to win four years prior on his debut, because that’s the most Vince thing he could possibly do.

Come Royal Rumble 2003, Lesnar was on double duty, cruising past a feuding Big Show in six minutes earlier in the night for the right to enter the Rumble at all.

He would storm in at #29, wasting no time eliminating Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and finally old foe The Undertaker to book his ticket to WrestleMania.

His nine-minutes on the dot spent in the ring was a new record for shortest time in a Rumble for a winner, a number that was beaten by John Cena five years later.

The Rumble win would take him into his first WrestleMania main event and a second WWE Championship reign.
