It is easy to forget that Kane has not always been the over exposed, aging star he is now. The big man is well known to be one of the smartest guys on the roster and during a feud with Daniel Bryan the two of them struck gold as an oddball tag team. And yet that could have all gone so wrong. How many times have WWE done some hokey angle that was meant to be funny but ended up playing to an audience of one, bearing the initials V.K.M? But somehow, Kane and Bryan took this ridiculous stories and turned it into gold. Whether it was attending anger management classes or hugging it out, the two of them consistently stole the show. They even went on to win the Tag Team titles and their feud with The SHIELD did a lot to legitimise that team. Team Hell No became one of the most over tag teams in recent memory, with the Big Red Monster even being singled out for praise in Bryan's retirement speech.
