Before we get there, though, he had a few other storylines to get through, starting with the end of his relationship with AJ Lee. Following WrestleMania the two broke up and Bryan was quite frankly a bit of a meanie. However, when he entered into a feud with CM Punk, she would be drawn back into the picture. This would eventually end in Daniel Bryan proposing to AJ and setting up a classic wrestling wedding. Of course, we all know that those never go to plan and right enough, Bryan was jilted at the altar. To add insult to injury, he was later attacked by The Rock and insulted by, of all people, Charlie Sheen. All in all, a bad night. However, it would be this that would lead to Bryan embracing an angrier character. He may have once again been humiliated on TV, but this time, he would take that humiliation and channel it into something that may not have been the most successful part of his career, but may well have been the most entertaining.
