10 Times Fighters Used Their Signature Move In A Movie

8. Randy Couture - The Expendables

Having made arguably the most successful transition from fighting in the cage to a career on the screen, Randy Couture has served as the benchmark for success that so many other fighters have attempted, and usually failed, to replicate.

Not only is Couture's career in film a matter of envy to most fighters, but his accolades in the cage were also pretty impressive to say the least. Despite not debuting in the sport until he was in his 30s, Couture would embark on one of the most legendary careers in the history of the sport.

Ultimately becoming the first man to capture UFC gold in two different weight classes, Couture found success as one of the first fighters to effectively mix striking and grappling, using his extensive wrestling background to dictate where his fights took place.

One of Couture's first major roles on the big screen saw him star in the 2010 movie, The Expendables, alongside an all-star cast of action greats.

In the film, Couture finds himself in a fight with pro wrestling legend Steve Austin, using his signature mix of boxing and takedowns to repel Austin's attacks.
