10 Times Fighters Used Their Signature Move In A Movie

4. Mirko Cro Cop - Ultimate Force

Some of the fighters featured on this list managed to make it into some big-budget Hollywood blockbusters, others... not so much.

That isn't meant to disparage Mirko Cro Cop's role as the lead in the 2006 direct-to-video action film Ultimate Force (not related to the ITV series starring Ross Kemp before you ask), more to point out that it's probably fair to say that Cro Cop has been more successful in his other ventures outside of the ring.

The movie was made while Cro Cop was arguably at the peak of his MMA career, becoming one of the most feared fighters in PRIDE for his violent kicking arsenal and impressive hand speed for a heavyweight.

Cro Cop used his attributes to great effect during his time in the Japanese promotion, defeating Wanderlei Silva and Josh Barnett in the same night to be crowned the 2006 PRIDE Open Weight Grand Prix winner.

Though Mirko's acting chops may not be quite as polished as his skills in the ring, Cro Cop still looks great in the film's fighting scenes, employing both his legendary kicks, and his underrated submission game throughout.
