10 Times Fighters Used Their Signature Move In A Movie

3. Rampage Jackson - A-Team

When it was announced that the classic '80s TV series the A-Team was going to be remade in the late 2000s, it was clear that Mr T was going to be too old to reprise his iconic role as B.A. Baracus.

Initially, the role was intended to be given to legendary rapper Ice Cube, before it was announced that then UFC light heavyweight contender Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson would be pulling out of his scheduled bout with Rashad Evans to star in the film.

The choice was significant as it marked one of the first times an active MMA fighter had prominently featured in a big-budget motion picture.

Rampage even got to show off his signature Rampage slam, as he saves Face from certain death with a move that wouldn't look out of place during his time fighting in PRIDE FC.

Though the film proved to be a mixed success both in terms of its performance at the box office and in its critical reception, Rampage's turn as the iconic character was entirely fitting, and it's surprising that he hasn't gone on to further success in movies since.
