10 Times Hell Froze Over In Wrestling

1. Bret Hart Does Business With WWE After The 'Montréal Screwjob'

At the 1997 Survivor Series, Bret Hart watched in horror as Vince McMahon called for the bell. Putting a literal stop to Hart's match with Shawn Michaels, McMahon had screwed Bret out of the WWF Title. On his way to WCW, the Canadian wouldn't have the chance to rectify the situation, and he left with a bitter taste in his mouth.

For close to 13 years, Hart never worked with the WWF/WWE. Aside from a brief reunion to discuss a DVD project in 2005, he claims he rarely considered coming back to the company. That all changed in early-2010, when Bret sauntered out on the 4 January 2010 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Agreeing a truce with Shawn Michaels, he had also privately patched things up with McMahon behind the scenes. That didn't stop WWE from booking a feud between the pair, culminating in a disjointed match at WrestleMania XXVI.

After the 'Montréal Screwjob' in 1997, it seemed unlikely that Bret would ever forgive McMahon, Michaels, and the WWF. Since 2010, he has appeared sporadically, and the Survivor Series drama appears to be in the past.
