Some have admitted that Cena has the capacity to put on great matches, but with a caveat: he can only do it with wrestlers of equal or greater standing, and lacks that special Shawn Michaels like ability to elevate his opponents above their normal level. They'd be wrong - as his epic Last Man Standing match with Umaga at the 2007 Royal Rumble proved beyond doubt.

Given his subsequent decline, it's hard to believe Umaga was a legitimate threat to the WWE Champion (let alone The Champ), but the Samoan Bulldozer looked every inch the unstoppable monster he was supposed to be in early 2007, much of it down to Cena's faultless selling.
