We know that there are heel female performers and also men that are just mean to everybody including women, but it's best to avoid that kind of thing. From WWE's perspective, they only do it because they know it will create a lot of heat and that's all that matters most of time. Kane had many incidents where he attacked women, so the best thing that I could do was to put them all together. The Tombstone he did to Linda McMahon was probably the most shocking because she rarely took any bumps, so to see him do that to her on the ramp was one of his most violent attacks. Following the 2005 angle where Lita became paired with Edge after she was with Kane, there was a brutal Stretcher Match with Edge beating Kane. When it was over, Kane stalked Lita and dropped her with a Tombstone on the ramp. He hit Tori with a Tombstone because she left him for X-Pac. Kane was in the babyface role at that point, so fans cheered him for it.
