10 Times NXT Was As Dumb As WWE's Main Roster

6. Finn Bálor: Chainsaw Ripper Demon Man

Finn Bálor likes to bring out the 'Demon' side of him for many of his big matches, with it making appearances against the likes of Neville, Kevin Owens, Tyler Breeze and Samoa Joe, whom he faced at NXT TakeOver: London, following Joe's betrayal of his Dusty Classic partner in December 2015.

Rooted in his pre-WWE days, the 'Demon' body paint signifies Bálor tapping into deep reserves of energy and aggression, with designs seemingly adapted from his Venom-based design that he began using at an ICW show in 2014.

However, in a very WWE act, the 'Demon' really went in on his look for London. Basing his design on London's own "demon" Jack the Ripper, Bálor headed to the ring with a cloak, top hat, and... a chainsaw.

WWE have a bad habit of going über-patriotic any time they exit the States, brandishing flags of their hosting country everywhere they can fit them, just in case people forget where they are. Although a special night for The Prince, the stacking of the 'Demon' and Jack the Ripper and a wacky chainsaw felt a bit 'too many cooks'-y.

Imagine how over-bearing Bray Wyatt would be if he turned up at SummerSlam 2019 as the 'Fiend' character, sporting a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey.
