10 Times Predictable WrestleMania Outcomes Never Actually Happened

7. Ultimate Warrior Drops The IC Title To Rick Rude €“ WrestleMania V

The Ultimate Warrior was an absolute force of nature from the moment he first stepped into a WWF ring. Even before he was in the main event of shows, he was still dominating any and all opponents he went up against as he climbed up the ladder. With that being said, seeing the Warrior lose his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania V was an absolute shocker, going against what many fans believed would be a predictable Warrior victory against the cocksure €œRavishing€ Rick Rude. This was Warrior€™s first ever pinfall loss in the then-WWF, and it was a massive surprise to see him take a loss at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Sure, the loss was down to interference from Bobby Heenan, plus Warrior would regain the title later on in the year before going on to face Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI, but seeing Rude get the win here caught everybody off guard.
