When one thinks of terrible in-ring performers, Charles Wright is a name that often comes to mind. Wether it was as voodoo master Papa Shango or wannabe pimp The Godfather, Wright just couldn’t find a way to back up his admittedly impressive character work in the ring.

Wrestling as Kama, he took on Shawn Michaels at King Of The Ring 1995 in a match that far exceeded any other match on the show (which isn’t really that impressive considering eventual winner Mabel). While the match was far from a technical clinic, it was interesting to see Michaels get himself further over as a babyface while mocking Kama’s 'shoot' style.

The ending of the match saw a breathtaking combination of near-falls from both Michaels and Kama as the clock ticked down. If the match ended as a draw, both men were eliminated from the tournament, and unfortunately both men were indeed sent home early when Michaels pinned Kama for a three-count less than a second too late. An irate Michaels then proceeded to look into the camera and defiantly exclaim “bullsh*t!”.

Don’t worry Shawn, we’re definitely with you on that one.
