One of the major problems Bret Hart always had with Shawn Michaels was that he felt his peer somewhat stole the idea of the Ladder Match from him, making it his own. Whatever the case, nobody can deny that Michaels went on to have some of the most memorable bouts in the stipulation's history throughout his career. Eventually, at Summerslam 1995, Michaels would reign supreme in the match, but it was another Ladder clash against Razor Ramon which normally has fans talking. WrestleMania X was assuredly Bret's night, he was set to collide with his brother Owen in the opener, before winning the WWF Title in the main event, but a chunk of the spotlight belonged to Shawn and Razor. Putting on quite the show, the duo did things that fans had never really seen in the company before, thrilling the huge Madison Square Garden crowd and taking them on a journey that people in attendance will likely never forget. Both men were claiming to be Intercontinental Champion, so this match was set up to decide who was the 'undisputed' titleholder. Ramon would come out on top, in what would be his finest 'Mania moment.
