As weve seen on this list so far, the majority of sports star guests tend to have a little more than a cameo role when they come to the WWE. But that certainly wasnt the case for Lawrence Taylor in 1995. The former New York Giants linebacker was actually one half of the main event of WrestleMania XI, when he faced off against Bam Bam Bigelow. His spot at the top of the card saw a whole host of legends relegated to the midcard, including the likes of Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and even WrestleMania icon the Undertaker. Perhaps understandably so, the decision to feature Taylor in the biggest match of the yearand furthermore to win the thinggarnered its fair share of controversy. But truth be told Taylor put on a pretty impressive performance for a guy whod never performed in the ring before. As a result, reviews of the show have been highly mixed, but well let you draw your own conclusions on this one.
