10 Times Superstars Buried WWE's Hierarchy

9. Cesaro Buries WWE's Bookers

Cesaro was in the midst of a mega push this time last year. It was widely accepted that the King of Swing was the next breakout star in the WWE as his performances in the ring continued to outshine almost everyone on the roster. He won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and gained Paul Heyman as his manager. All was rosey in the Cesaro camp. Then, confusion with the gimmick Cesaro was trying to pull off obviously left the Swiss-man frustrated. He blatantly felt the constant change in terrible themes, the constant change in entrance wear and that horrible strut he tried to pull off was all to his detriment. This caused him to air his reverences with the Liverpool Echo newspaper, he said:
"Exactly. It is a new era of guys, it's a new generation, and it's a lot of fun to watch that because there are fresh match-ups. I mean I'm sick of seeing John Cena against Randy Orton for the 500th time. It's great that we have some new, young guys that can come out and provide absolutely great match-ups and for the fans there are fresh, exciting matches and things to watch."
This criticism of the WWE's creative team landed him in hot water with the powers that be as his subsequent demotion down the card played out. It's good to see Cesaro is a resilient character and he's doing everything he can to get himself back up the card in the highly impressive tag team with Tyson Kidd.
