2. Nick Hogan's Car Accident

August 2006 saw one of the darkest times for the Hogan family as the then-17-year-old Nick Hogan was involved in a car accident.

Whilst Nick would walk away with minor injuries after his Supra collided with a tree, the passenger of the vehicle wasn’t as lucky. John Graziano suffered severe injuries to his eye and brain, and will require 24-hour care for the rest of his life.

Certain claims suggested that the youngest Hogan was racing against a friend’s car at the time of the crash, although this was never proven. Criminal charges were brought against Nick and he was sentenced to 8 months in jail, given a 5 year probation term, ordered to carry out 500 hours of community service, and stripped of his driving license for 3 years.

All of this threw the Hogan family firmly into the spotlight, with Hulk standing by his son throughout the proceedings.

Even though public eyes were on the horrible situation that the Hogans found themselves in, it was poor John Graziano, and his family, who suffered the most from this ordeal.
