Ok, so Sting and Triple H haven't faced off in an actual wrestling match quite yet, but anticipation is building for the confrontation. When Wrestlemania 31 is all said and done, history will have been made, and Sting will have had his first official match as a WWE star, at the promotion's biggest show of the year no less. As mentioned earlier in this article, many felt The Undertaker vs. Sting was a shoe-in, destined to happen. After all, the match had been talked about seemingly since the dawn of time, going as far back to Sting's first appearances as the 'Crow' style persona fans see today in the mid-90's. A variety of factors have stopped that bout from taking place, at least for now, but Triple H is definitely the ideal candidate for Sting's first WWE encounter. The match feels like a big deal, and squeezes perhaps the last remaining juice from the WWE vs. WCW fruit. For that reason alone, it's worthwhile booking, and even though the match is unlikely to be a timeless classic as an actual wrestling match, it should still be quite the spectacle.
