Despite having already lost twice to The Undertaker at WrestleMania, Triple H went back to the well for a third time, wrestling the Icon inside Hell In A Cell at 'Mania 28. This time, however, Shawn Michaels was special referee. Again, it ended up being an absolutely fantastic match. Triple H did the job, but he wouldn't have cared about that, not when he knew he was going to look so good in the process. Out of their trilogy of 'Mania battles, this was the best one. It ended with a tombstone piledriver, but only after both men had kicked out of each other's finishers in a brutal war. In a touching end scene, 'Taker, Hunter and Michaels then embraced on the top of the stage. The announcers heralded it as "the end of an era". A great scene considering the history between the three men. As of now, this is the last time they've ever been in the same ring as each other.
