10 Times Triple H Won WWE Matches He Should Have Lost

6. Vs The Hurricane (WWE Raw, March 31st 2003)

In which the self-styled "diamond" of the industry dulls the sparkle of a wrestler shined up real nice by an actual star.

Though far from a finished product or made man in 2003, The Hurricane's spring fling with a heel-turned Rock had ensured he was far more than just comedic foil for the headliners to squash. All until a headliner squashed him, anyway.

The caped cruiserweight had pinned 'The Great One' and looked his intellectual superior in p*ss funny backstage vignettes on the road to WrestleMania, but with 'Show Of Shows' business taken care of, the World Heavyweight Champion took the first opportunity to start putting everybody back in their places.

It was as if 'The Game' had waited until the coast was clear, too. 24 hours before this bout, The Rock had theoretically concluded his WWE business before returning to Hollywood with a victory over Stone Cold Steve Austin. Goldberg's arrival kept him around for one more month, but the heel honeymoon was just about over.

As was Hurricane, until he ate the canvas in frustratingly straightforward fashion here.
