When you get an introduction to WWE fans like that then you are clearly somebody handpicked by Vince McMahon to be a huge star. At the time, McIntyre was only 24 years old and really lacked the experience to be a top guy, but if they developed him most people assumed he would get there. He had the right look that we know WWE likes and he was good enough as a talker too. It was just a matter of if he would get pushed to that level. http://youtu.be/YBLx0ItTeUA The "Chosen One" gimmick was pushed down our throats. There were times when it was clear that he was going to be a top guy. Then things kind of fizzled out for him. His WWE career ended earlier this year as part of the joke heel trio known as 3MB, which was never booked seriously. Since McIntyre is only 29 years old, he might be back in WWE one day. He has said he wants to come back and maybe he will return, but even if he does return he may never reach the lofty expectations that Vince McMahon had for him.
