Longtime WWE fans will know how remarkable it is that Vince agreed to an all-women's main event at WrestleMania 35. There was a time when female matches were little more than a token extra on company cards; they were the kind to be was placed in between more "serious" bouts, obviously involving the lads.

Lads, lads, lads.

Alundra Blayze has spoken at length about her issues as WWF Women's Champ in the mid-'90s. She was fighting hard to get a division off the ground, and advised that McMahon draft in international beasts like Bull Nakano to help her do it. Vince, likely wondering why he would book that when Barry Horowitz was available, wasn't impressed.

The revamped women's "division" (if you could even call it that) was scrapped in late-1995 and Blayze bolted for WCW. McMahon had blatantly viewed her work and championship as a sideshow that wasn't on par with other matches or titles.
