Those early In Your House specials were house shows fans had to pay $20 to watch at home. That sounds harsh, but it's true. They definitely weren't on the same level as events like WrestleMania, SummerSlam or Royal Rumble, and yet they gave McMahon the chance to try out some new combos in main events.

After watching Diesel vs. British Bulldog at IYH 4, he wished he hadn't.

Once the 18-minute slog was over with, Vince threw his commentary headset onto the table in anger and stormed off to verbally slay someone backstage. Bruce Prichard (a guy privy to most of the stories on this list), remembers how irate the boss was about the headliner when he talked it over with company officials.

Vince was p*ssed about the slow pace of the match, the general lack of action in it and how lifeless the Winnipeg crowd appeared to be when watching Diesel and Bulldog go through the motions. As those same fans watched another handful of bonus dark matches, McMahon ranted and raved about the disjointed pay-per-view main.
