10 Times Vince McMahon Lost His Damn Mind
6. Cage Bump
It's often been said that Vince McMahon will never ask a talent to do something he is not willing to do himself. For proof of this, look no further than St Valentine's Day Massacre from February of 1999.
Squaring off with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin inside a steel cage, Vince McMahon had his work cut out for him that night. Vince had only competed in five matches in total up to that point and had taken very few bumps in his career. Suffice to say, a trained practitioner he was not.
What's more, Mr McMahon was 53 at the time and his body was, in theory, well past it's physical prime. Nevertheless, McMahon looked in great shape going into the bout; conversely, he wouldn't look so great coming out of it.
With the action beginning on the outside, Austin and McMahon battled all around ringside before eventually scaling the steel. Teetering perilously above the Spanish announce table, 'The Rattlesnake' drove Vince's head into the cage, causing the ageing Chairman to fly backwards. Landing directly on the hard edge of the table, Vince hit with an almighty crack.
Incredibly, the bout would continue for another 13 minutes, showing how tough Vince really is.
