10 Times Vince McMahon Lost His Damn Mind

4. The N-Word

When it comes to crossing the line on TV, few men get away with the kind of stunts that Vince McMahon has done. As the boss, Vince can pretty much do and say whatever he likes - a fact he has proven on countless occasions.

One such occasion came during a backstage segment at Survivor Series 2005. Greeting WWE Champion, John Cena, Vince attempted to speak to the champ on his level, using street talk to prove he's not out of touch. After asking Cena "What's good in the hood?" McMahon followed it up with "Keep it up, my ni**a!"

The crowd was audibly shocked into a cocktail of gasps and nervous laughter, as disbelief flowed throughout the live audience. McMahon then strutted past Booker T and Sharmell, who were also occupying the hallway at the time.

Blissfully unaware of his own faux pas, Vince pleasantly acknowledged the stunned couple as he waltzed by, leaving Booker to utter his signature line "Tell me he didn't just say that...".

Incredibly, there was very little backlash from the segment in the aftermath. Instead, the skit was commonly chalked up as McMahon merely playing up to his growing alienation from 21st century culture.
