You cannot accuse Vince McMahon of lacking confidence. Vince has the swagger and, quite frankly, the grapefruits required to run a company like the WWE. Vince has never been afraid to take on all comers and push buttons, even if it p***es people off in the process. Not even God himself could stop Vince McMahon, as fans learned during the chairman's 2006 feud with Shawn Michaels. After HBK delivered a jaw-dropping beating to his boss at WrestleMania 22, Vince enlisted the help of his son Shane to tackle Michaels and his partner 'God'. Cue lots of bad television, as Vince delivered promos in a church and generally made fun of God and religion in general. The tag team match went down at Backlash. 'God' came out, complete with mock spotlight entrance. Vince was clearly having the time of his life making fun of Christianity. Other fans weren't laughing, however. There were many that felt that Vince was going too far in a cheap bid for ratings. The God angle was dropped after Backlash and Vince instead battled the combined forces of Triple H and Shawn Michaels, who reformed DX.
