Eric Bischoff was no longer anything other than a television persona when he finally arrived in 2002. Unfortunately for his character, it meant he was little more than a lamb to the slaughter when it came to coping with Vince McMahon's whimsical worst.

Programmed as a sleazy pr*ck for the bulk of his first year, 'Easy E' was your common-or-garden repugnant insincere authority figure at beast, and a disgusting pervert at worst. Both traits were suitable for when he was put front-of-house face for one of the worst periods in Monday Night Raw history. By doing the gross bidding for his boss, Eric was unfortunately a conduit for some of the company's crudest creations. And 'Hot Lesbian Action' was perhaps the most notorious.

Pandering to the worst of pavlovian post-Attitude Era mob, he promoted two women stripping and kissing before revelling in one of the most uncomfortable cases of man-on-women violence in company history. That's right - the whole point of the bit was to titillate for ratings then obliterate for heat. As the merchandise team got to work drafting a line of pathetically distasteful t-shirts, the poor women hired for the demeaning skit were forced to take an absolute mauling from 3 Minute Warning.

McMahon had gotten his kicks - it was now time for two poor extras to take theirs.
