The legdrop that changed wrestling. For the uninitiated, Hulk Hogan is the most important wrestler in history. Under his stewardship, WWE reached unrivaled pinnacles of success. Without Hogan, it's almost certain that WrestleMania would not have succeeded to the degree that it did.

That being said, one cannot stay relevant forever. An '80s icon, Hogan's schtick was played out by 1993. Seeing the writing on the wall, Hogan took a massive contract from Turner's WCW in 1994, arriving and playing his greatest hits, winning the title and fending off big, fat cartoon villains. Fatigue was setting in faster than ever; something had to change.

Cue the arrival of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash and, with them, an aura of chaos and uncertainty. The two decimated all who opposed them until Lex Luger, Randy Savage, and Sting challenged the duo at Bash at the Beach, where they would reveal a third ally. Uncertainty prevailed however, as the third man never arrived, and Luger was taken out early, turning the match into a traditional tag match.

With Hall and Nash dominating, Hogan walked methodically down to the ring. Sending the villains scattering, Hogan paused, back into the corner and... dropped a big leg on Randy Savage. The third man arrived, after all.

Cutting arguably the greatest promo of his life, Hogan ripped the fans for abandoning him, completely revitalizing his career in the process.

No wrestling fan watching will ever forget Tony Schiavone's immortal reaction: "Hulk Hogan, you can go to hell. Straight to hell."
